"Beyond the Event Horizon" is James C. Ellerbe's first book of poetry published by Let It Flow Publishing that chronicles his life and evolution of thought on the subjects of love, life, social politics, and economics. It is a unique journey from his adolescence to adulthood through the motif of a black hole. BEH is his arrival to the literary world.

"James Ellerbe is one of the most liberated minds I know. He has been pushing himself toward free thinking ever since he was a child. Everyone should want to be free." - Jeff Carroll
"AkilThePoet aka James Ellerbe is the epitome of when a lover of poetry transitions into a dynamic poet who writes directly from the heart. His amazing ability to say so much with so little, has earned him the nickname master of the short poem. He bleeds his poetry, we need his poetry...experience the difference." - Un Invited
