Please join us on THURSDAY, May 10th 2018 for the sixth installment of Words on Wednesdays, a monthly poetry series at the Creativity Caravan, 28 South Fullerton Avenue, Montclair, NJ—from 7-9pm—with 2 featured readers and a generous open mic hosted by Charles Joseph and Joseph Quiroz. Admission is free, and Montclair digs poetry, so come early to sign up for an opportunity to share your work with the audience. Also, all are welcome to the show, so feel free to share this event with your friends.

May's featured readers, John Dorsey and Matthew Haines, are special guests visiting from Osage Arts Community in Belle, Missouri ....SO COME ALL YE FAITHFUL and UNFAITHFUL?

Also Joseph Quiroz will most likely have another wierd item to raffle off...right Joe?

Here's a bit about our boys from BELLE:

John Dorsey lived for several years in Toledo, Ohio. He is the author of several collections of poetry, including Teaching the Dead to Sing: The Outlaw's Prayer (Rose of Sharon Press, 2006), Sodomy is a City in New Jersey (American Mettle Books, 2010), Tombstone Factory, (Epic Rites Press, 2013), Appalachian Frankenstein (GTK Press, 2015) Being the Fire (Tangerine Press, 2016) and Shoot the Messenger (Red Flag Press, 2017). He is the current Poet Laureate of Belle, MO. His work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. He may be reached at

Chigger Matthews is a language artist living in the American Midwest. Hosts the collaborative feature "Free Chigger Matthews Presents," teaches poetry workshops for all ages, and is an artist-in-residence at Osage Arts Community in Belle, MO.
