JERSEY CITY BOOK FAIR

  • THE BETHUNE CENTER 140 Martin Luther King Drive Jersey City, NJ, 07305 United States (map)

We are so excited to officially invite you to be part of the inaugural Jersey City Book Fair, produced by Marc Polite and Millicent Ansah!

Join us on Saturday, October 3, from 12:00 PM–5:00 PM at the Bethune Center (140 Martin Luther King Dr., Jersey City, NJ 07305) as part of JCAST (Jersey City Art & Studio Tour) for a FREE celebration of literature, storytelling, and literacy.

The Jersey City Book Fair was created with a simple vision: to celebrate the power of books, amplify diverse literary voices, and create opportunities for readers, writers, educators, artists, and community organizations to connect. We believe everyone deserves to see themselves reflected in the stories they read, and we're excited to create a space where those stories can be shared and celebrated.

WE'D LOVE FOR YOU TO BE PART OF IT!

We're currently looking for:

Especially local authors, Black authors, diasporic voices, and writers from marginalized communities.

 Children's Book Authors
To participate in our Children's Literacy Room and Children's Literacy Panel Discussion.
